Overwintered full colony with 2025 marked blue queen. A well established colony with 11 frames of eggs, brood and stores, ready for the main flow. These colonies generally produce a very good crop of honey, if nurtured correctly and given plenty of forage.

Collection Only. Hives will be ready beginning to mid May weather permitting. These hives are very limited so early booking is recommend.

  • These colonies come in a used cedar hive with mesh floor, brood box and all frames, crown board and roof.

    Collection will be any time between late April to early May. As beekeeping is very weather dependent, collection dates may vary considerably.

    Our pick up times are typically in the morning. You will be given a time slot which we ask you to keep to as there will be many pick ups on your collection date.

    Pick up is near Newbury, Berkshire. Full details will be sent to you with your collection date.
